He graduated in Poland in 1996, where he did surgical training before going to the UK where he became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. After arriving in New Zealand he worked in Wellington Hospital until, after further training, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
For many years he has been successfully performing Endovenous Laser Ablations (EVLAs), Radiofrequency ablations (RFA), MOCAs, Venaseal (glue) and Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy in Wellington and Auckland. He also is skilled in microsclerotherapy for spider veins.
He became a member of ACP and has a Diploma of Procedural Phlebology.
Apart from vein problems, his other interest is community treatment of skin cancers and has recently completed a Diploma of Dermoscopy and Skin cancer Surgery.
Jerzy is married and has a teenage daughter. He enjoys spending his free time on discovering new best fishing spots on our coasts.
The other members of the clinic are working on him to follow rugby!

Dr Robert Fris

For many years The team has been headed by Dr Rob Fris. A graduate of the Otago Medical School, his surgical training and experiences include New Zealand, Australia, Canada, USA, Scotland, India, and Brasil. READ MORE
His background treating problem veins stretches back to 1978, while training in Canada, and to date has seen an estimated 4000 patients.
Rob has recently retired from his clinical work however he remains our most valuable peer!
Rob is married with 3 children and a dog. Apart from establishing one of New Zealand’s busiest surgical practices he has made time to be on the Ski Patrol at Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, learnt to fly a helicopter, dived with sharks, completed the Coast to Coast 3 times, and has been known to exaggerate the size and number of trout or snapper he has caught.

Lisa has been a valued member of the team for several years and is married with two sons. Lisa spends most of her spare time running her boys to practices, games and the many activities that they engage in.
